About Us
Freastal is a subsidiary of Bárd na nGleann Teo., which was founded in 2004 following the introduction of the Official Languages Act 2003. The company is headquartered in Béal Átha'n Ghaorthaidh (Ballingeary), in the heart of the Muskerry Gaeltacht, Co. Cork.
The Freastal team works with projects of any size: big or small. We can help you with an entire project or translate a simple brochure for you. Freastal undertakes various types of projects including annual reports & financial statements, websites, press releases, brochures and information leaflets. We work with many documentation file formats, using state-of-the-art translation technology to ensure accuracy, consistency and improved productivity.
All of Freastal’s translators have suitable qualifications and vast experience in the field of translation, most members of the Freastal team are also native Irish speakers. The Freastal translators can translate either in their native dialect or in “standard” Irish. Click here for more information on the Freastal team.
Since its establishment in 2004 Freastal has worked on a substantial number of projects for a wide range of clients, including both public and private organisations, in Ireland and abroad. Freastal currently holds a long list of satisfied clients for whom translation services are provided on a recurring basis (see Clients).
